General Summary:
The (Co-Production and Student/Community Engagement) Program Coordinator for the Asian American Studies Program (AsAmSt) supports the storytelling project development, creative media co-production, student development, curricular integration and civic engagement of AsAmSt faculty, staff and students, together with AsAmSt alumni and local community constituencies. The incumbent works with a high degree of independence and integrated skill sets as a primary staff of a dynamic, interdisciplinary, academic unit with long-term goals of knowledge co-production, capacity-building, and educational transformation, particularly for under-resourced, metro-Boston Asian American students and communities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Asian American Studies and a minimum of three years of experience in Asian American Studies-related environments in university or community settings is required. Minimum of three years of experience in video, graphic design, multimedia production, editing, and training in community or campus settings is required. Minimum of three years of experience in Asian American Studies course-related educational support or community youth education development work OR matriculation in a relevant graduate program in a field related to education, expressive arts or ethnic studies is required. Experience with collaborative grant proposal development and documentation is preferred. Bilingual skills in Chinese, Vietnamese, Khmer or other Asian languages preferred. Familiarity with university academic policies, practices and systems preferred.

This is an exempt union position. This is a grant funded position with a current end date of Dec 31, 2025, subject to renewal contingent on funding and university needs.
